Pingvin Rugby Club is sadly unable to host the Pingvin Easter Games 2010........

This is mainly due to the fact that we are still struggling with very bad weather forecasts (snow and frozen grounds and water drenched pitches) plus the fact that we've had less participating teams than previous years and several cancellations. Other reasons could be what teams from UK, Holland and Germany have told us, that they have to play postponed league games during Easter, due to the snow, and are thus unavailable.

This is very unfortunate not only for Pingvin Rugby Club, but especially for teams coming from far away, which have had to cancel or alter their plans.

But, as Pingvin Rugby Club is still looking for pre-season games for our men and ladies, we will host any team that still would like to come during Easter. We suggest a one day of rugby 10 am -16 pm on Friday 2nd with a barbecue and party in the evening and grand breakfast/brunch 11 o clock on Saturday morning for those staying overnight. Games will be played on pitches available under these probably wet conditions.

We are hoping to still have 3 ladies teams and 3 mens teams. More are of course welcome.....

Once again we are sorry for this bad news.
